I have checked now this 1997 game and I can confirm the game is absolutely free to download and surprisingly pretty complex - looks funny to play. There is help on getting the sound working. It also tells you what is needed in the Config.sys and autoexec.bat files. Pentium 90 recommended.ġmeg graphics card with vesa driver installed for picture resolution of 640 x 480 pixels in 256 colours. MS-dos compatible PC with 486 processor or compatable. I am not sure if I can get the program running today, but one day I will have a go. And of course you have to set up a sound driver in Dos as well as a mouse driver to be able to run the game. There was a program in the old days called memmaker that used to free up more base memory. I think it needed over 600K to run the program. One of the problems in getting the program to run was the DOS base memory, the first 640K. So it is better if you can get an old computer, early Pentium or even a 486 with vesa graphics card.

Just wanted to Thank You for your effort it stopped me from the insanity of frustration.I don't know if it can be run on modern machines as it is a dos program.

The power of perservance and ingenuity!!!!!!

I would have purchased a 64 bit computer in a minute if I had known it would operate Autocad 2000LT. It is amazing how much negative misinformation I have received from people on this problem, Autocad 2000LT is not supported, there are no fixes, the printer drivers are not functional with Windows 7 and Autocad 2000LT, it is not compatible with Windows 7, etc., and then I find your post.Īnd even more amazing you find a way to run Autocad 2000 on Windows 7 64 bit, which everyone told me was impossible. I follow you directions and shazam everything is working and I am able to print with no "memory allocation errors"!!!!!!!! So I look through every post until I come upon yours.

So I'm communicating with two guys on the Autocad 2000LT forum who are really trying to help, when they recommend looking through the Autocad 2000 forum posts. Here I've been trying to get Autocad 2000LT working on my new computer with Windows 7 32 bit for 4 days now, and no luck.
